    Care instructions:

Due to the natural lanolin in the wool, genuine sheepskin tends to be self-cleaning. For slight soiling we recommend to air the skin to keep your fleece fresh and help maintain its self-cleaning properties.

Small slightly soiled areas can be sponged off.
In case the skin should be heavily soiled it can be washed as below

    Hand Washing

Use a special detergent designed for wool (with lanolin) or a mild liquid household detergent in cold or warm water (max 30C). Do not use soap or washing powders containing enzymes or bleach. Do not use fabric softeners. Rinse thoroughly in warm water. Hand squeezes as much water from the lambskin as possible.

    Machine Washing

Use the ‘wool wash’ cycle on your washing machine and wash in warm water (max 30C). Use a mild liquid detergent suitable for washing machines. Do not use soap or washing powders containing enzymes or bleach.

    Drying
Hang to dry or dry flat. Do not dry in direct sunlight, or near a heat source. Do not iron or bleach the lambskin.
The lambskin can also be drycleaned.
